What It Costs to Sponsor a Government School in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana: ₹500 to ₹1 Lakh

"Sponsor a school" can mean anything from a box of notebooks to rebuilding a building. If you are an individual, a family or a small business thinking about sponsoring part of a government school in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, here is what each level of support pays for, and how to pick the right one.

Why government schools?

Most children in rural Andhra Pradesh and Telangana study in government schools. Many of these schools have committed teachers but lack basics: working classrooms, learning materials, and any contact with computers or AI. Small, targeted spending goes a long way because the school, the teachers and the students are already there.

What your sponsorship pays for

For one child

  • ₹500 covers school supplies for one child for a full year.

  • ₹1,000 keeps one child in class for a month.

  • ₹5,000 funds a full term of practical skills training for one student through our Student Skills Development Programme.

For a classroom

  • ₹2,500 buys a complete classroom kit: stationery, notebooks and learning aids.

  • ₹10,000 runs an AI literacy workshop for 50 students, many of whom are using a computer for the first time.

  • ₹25,000 sets up a digital classroom.

For a whole school

₹1,00,000 funds a whole-school transformation under our Next Generation Education programme, covering the repairs and learning resources that school needs most. Larger gifts and CSR budgets can be tied to a named school with progress reporting; talk to us about a partnership.

How to choose

  • Want to see one child helped? Start at ₹500 or ₹1,000.

  • Want a visible change in a room? A classroom kit or digital classroom.

  • Interested in future skills? An AI workshop reaches 50 students at once.

  • Giving as a family, alumni group or company? Pool funds for a whole school.
