Give a government-school child the future they were born to have.
₹1,000 keeps one child in class for a month — with clean water, a working classroom, and teachers who show up.

India's government schools are in crisis.
Over 250 million children attend government schools across India — yet most lack clean drinking water, functional toilets, and basic textbooks. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, lakhs of children sit in crumbling classrooms with no electricity and no library.
Since 2025 we have visited 400+ schools across 23 districts. What we found was heartbreaking — and inspiring. That's why we don't stop.
Three programmes, one mission.
Every rupee flows into one of three flagship programmes that transform how government-school children learn.

“You can't teach a child in a room with no light, no water, and no working toilet. So that's where we start.”
Across the 400+ government schools SSF works in, we repair toilets and waterlines, restore power, and install digital classrooms — giving children the tools their peers in private schools take for granted.

Shaik Mohammed Iqbal
With 35+ years of public service across Andhra Pradesh, Shaik Mohammed Iqbal witnessed the systemic neglect of government-school education firsthand. In 2025 he walked into a rural government school and found 180 students without clean water, electricity, or a single functioning toilet.
That visit changed everything. He founded Students & Schools Foundation to do what the system had not — rebuild, restore, and reimagine what a government school could be.
Today SSF operates across 23+ districts, running three flagship programmes that reach 25,000+ students annually.
