Our Story

Students & Schools Foundation started with a refusal: that no child's future should be decided by the condition of the government school nearest their home.

Founded by Shaik Mohammed Iqbal

Ex-Inspector General of Police (IPS) · Ex-MLC · 35+ years in public service

SSF was founded by Shaik Mohammed Iqbal after 35 years in public service across Andhra Pradesh. Over that career he saw how a single broken classroom can quietly narrow a child's life, and how rarely anyone came back to fix it. When he retired, that became his work.

Our Approach

What Makes SSF Different

Most education charities run a workshop and move on. SSF stays with a school. Our work runs through three programmes that invest in three things at once — the classroom, the teacher, and the child.

01

Student Skills Development Programme

Practical vocational and life-skills training that prepares government-school students for the world beyond the classroom.

02

AI Workshops

Hands-on artificial-intelligence literacy sessions for students and teachers, bringing frontier skills into public classrooms.

03

Next Generation Education System

Systemic transformation of government schools — digital classrooms, learning resources, and teacher training that lasts.

Every rupee is accounted for

Transparency you can verify

We are committed to full financial transparency. Donations go directly to programme delivery in government schools, backed by audited annual accounts — so every contribution can be traced to the classroom it reached.

Be part of the transformation.

Whether you give ₹1,000 or partner an entire CSR programme, every contribution rebuilds a classroom — and a child's future.
