School Infrastructure Development

Over 70% of government schools in Andhra Pradesh lack basic infrastructure — functional classrooms, clean toilets, libraries, and drinking water. Without these foundations, no teaching methodology can succeed. SSF's Infrastructure Development Programme addresses this crisis systematically, one school at a time.

‍ ‍

What We Build

Digital Classrooms: We install projectors, speakers, interactive content systems, and reliable power supply in government school classrooms. Each digital classroom is set up with curriculum-aligned educational content in Telugu and English, enabling teachers to deliver lessons that match what students experience in private schools.

‍ ‍

Learning Resource Centres: Purpose-built spaces stocked with books, science kits, maps, and learning materials. Every LRC includes a reading corner for students who do not have books at home.

‍ ‍

Sanitation & Drinking Water: We fund construction and repair of gender-segregated toilets and install filtered drinking water systems — critical for retaining girl students in school.

‍ ‍

Classroom Furniture & Repair: Replacing broken furniture, repainting classrooms, and making basic structural repairs to create an environment of dignity and focus.

‍ ‍

Our Approach

SSF partners with District Collectors and District Education Officers (DEOs) to identify the highest-need schools in each district. All infrastructure work is executed under formal MoUs with the government and is subject to third-party verification. Post-installation monitoring ensures sustained functionality.
